“The Missing Link”

Among the Christian community of today, while being a community with many different doctrines, traditions, beliefs and faiths, there seems to be an existing problem among all as to where are the manifesting overcomers spoken of in scripture. We, God’s true people remain well aware that it is to the overcomer that God has promised victory and awards. However, does it not seem as if there is a gap between the promises of God and those promises manifesting through a people?

To those dwelling among that portion of the Christian community called “a loveless church” system (Rev. 2:1-7), many have left their first love for Christ and replaced Him with religious programs and carnal rituals. Nevertheless, in this God has promised to the overcomer the right to eat from the tree of life that abides in the Paradise of God. This tree of life speaks of the spiritual sustenance needed by man to maintain the eternal life that comes from God. This realm of life, existing in paradise speaks of the heavenlies, the spirituals of God wherein man enjoys fellowship with God in an ever-increasing manner. The mistake many make, in being able to accept such promises, is that man has the tendency to put these spiritual rights given by God for yesterdays or far off into the future. However, God’s purpose is for man to taste them in the now and enjoy them in an increasing manner daily until the fullness of times for all said promises manifest. Rev. 22:2, “In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations”.

Some of the people in the Christian community are dwelling among those of “the persecuted church” (Rev. 2:8-11). Unto those who remain faithful until death, if such, you may experience, they shall receive the crown of life. James 1:12, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him”. For all who overcome they receive the crown of life with the promise given that they will not be part of the second death. A progressive increasing work among the living results in knowing the full power of Christ resurrection that is accomplishing within the overcomer a life of glory in not only the spirit of man, but an established life in mans spirit, soul and body. Rev. 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priest of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years”.

Then we can also observe “a compromising church” (Rev. 2:12-17), those who subject themselves into spiritual idolatry and immorality. These are those who remain carnal minded in their life styles as the things of the world consumes them as it eats them up. They reject any word from God that subjects the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life to any degree of correction. However, from among these God declares an overcoming group promised the right to eat of the hidden manna from God while receiving a new name, speaking of a new nature. This hidden manna is that spiritual food, which is Jesus Christ, when He invited all to eat of His flesh and drink of His blood. This manna progressively transforms the vessel until he reaches the height of his calling. That is, a vessel made into God’s likeness and His image. John 6:51, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is my flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world”.

Next, we can observe that portion of the Christian community that participates in the name of “the corrupt church” (Rev. 2:18-29). This church is one that gives themselves to false doctrines promoted by the false prophets of the day. These promote sexual sins and idol worship, loving the world more than being lovers of God. 2 Peter 2:1, “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destructions”. However, again God is speaking of those among them who will overcome. This overcoming people will know power over the worlds systems as they take on the life of Christ who is the morning star. 2 Peter 1:19, “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts”.

God also speaks of “a dead church” (Rev. 3:1-6), a portion of the Christian community that participates and is actively involved with a covenant of death. It is unto these who find themselves separated from God. He comes upon them as a thief in the night, with them not knowing the hour of His appearing. “Dead” as spoken in this context of scripture speaks of dead persons (those separated from God) as distinct from dead bodies. Rev. 3:1b, “…I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead”. Even in this place of making a covenant with death, that is, a people who live unto the things of the flesh and this world, God is still promising to those who will overcome a new covenant. That is a placing their names in the Book of Life that each might live. This also speaks of putting on Christ, that robe of righteousness, that place of victory. Rev. 19:7-8, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the Saints”.

Also among the Christian community dwells a portion of them who God looks upon as “the faithful church” (Rev. 3:7-13). These are those, who like the Apostle Paul; declare that their soul’s desire is to become liken unto Christ. Phil. 3:13-14, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”. Unto this portion of the Christian community, God also declares a place of eternal victory. Unto those who maintain that place of intimate relationship with Christ He promises a new nature. An eternal abiding with the Father in His manifested glory. Matt. 19:29, “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or fathers or mother or wife or children or lands, for my names [natures] sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life”. This verse then states that the priority of living for Christ should be a placing of God above all other things. Not giving up on the other things but always keeping Christ in first place.

God then brings our attention to the fact that there also exist, among the Christian community, “a portion that is lukewarm in their nature” (Rev 3:14-22). Lukewarmness and mixture is that which God hates. Being of a mixture or lukewarmness manifest before the world an unidentified position of what the true people of God are really like. The world does not see any defining difference between those of the world and those of the church. For this cause, the hurting world does not know where to turn which causes a large portion of society to search for God in all the wrong places. They pursue after many things in looking to fulfill the inner cry they have for a God. In this searching, they do not find God in all the activities of their fleshly desires. So, for this reason we hear them cry, as they ask, where is God’s true witness? In this God is and shall remove these unfaithful ones through judgment as He purifies and places a perfect witness before the crying world. These shall arise in God to manifest a throne room authority. That is, those who shall manifest and establish the kingdom of God in all the earth. Rev. 21:7, “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son”.

When looking at the promises of God and that which is manifesting among the Christian community there seems to be a great difference. There seems to be something missing in expressing and manifesting the things that the promises of God have declared. Could there be a missing link, something the church has ignored or missed? The whole world is in a place of travail, with a deep groaning coming from within. This groaning is even now shouting out, where is the manifestation of Gods many promises. Rom. 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now”. Why does the Christian community not manifest itself as a church without spot or wrinkle? Why has the Christian community become such a community that remains in a state of confusion? Where is that people who will manifest the fullness of God’s promises? With many opportunities existing where many ministers shout out the telling of God’s word, there seems to be a gap, a missing link between so much telling with very little manifesting. For this reason, the people are not finding fulfillment. In all their searching, they remain empty with many just giving up without any degree of hope. What is the missing link and could it be missing because the price is too great for carnal minded men to pay?

What of the Christian community and where does it stand in hearing and responding to the groaning of a world gone wrong? Does this Christian community carry about the reputation of having a form of godliness but with itself denying the power of Godliness? Could this lack of power be the results of only telling the world about God without offering and manifesting before them any change? That is, a preaching of sermons with good sounding words without any power to bring any change or a need for change. Thus, a continual message coming forth of a need for forgiveness of the same old sins with a vicious cycle establishing a need for repeated forgiveness without any foreseen ending. Meanwhile the change spoken of is a need to be change from one world to another, a world that is of a reversal, the living of a new life-style that is the results of a change of nature. Could the missing link then be the results of trying to live a godly life while still dwelling in bondage to the old nature of fallen man? This fallen nature is that which humankind received because of the first Adam’s fall. Could we ever hope to be completely successful concerning the promises of God while still being held captive to our old formed nature? Always living in that cycle of picking fruit from the tree of man’s old fallen nature. From this cycle, Christ can make us free.

It would seem that most of the Christian community, with all its preaching, still dwells within the limitations of needing a continual forgiveness for sins still being committed. This continual need exist because, even with altars being filled with people needing forgiveness, they never experience true change. Could this be because of the ministers who remain in error? That is, some see the need for and telling about forgiveness, but they never seem to neither see nor impart the power of change. Is it not true that while still existing in the realm of a “fallen soul”, that soul will continue to bare fruit repeatedly according to its nature? As long as the old nature root remains, it will produce its fruit again-and-again. Thus, the missing link needed for paying the price for this change. While the Christian community still needs to minister salvation for the forgiveness of committed sins, the world also needs ministers that no longer minister just information only, but those which also impart the spirit and power of change. In this change the resurrected soul, the nature of Christ in man, will began to bare a different kind of fruit. No longer will they continue to deal with the old fruit coming forth repeatedly, but these changed ones shall bring forth fruit of a different kind. That is, the new nature, the new covenant made available by God through Christ Jesus and His death on the cross. (Please read Heb. 8:7-13).

Could the missing link be the need for a resurrection from the “fallen dead soul” realm? Was it true that Adams fall moved him from dwelling in God’s life and presence because of disobedience? Was it also true that God placed “a flaming sword” between fallen man and the garden of life, to guard its way? Is this Jesus became the Way back through the flaming sword to again dwell in that garden of life? This flaming sword, the word made flesh and sent to dwell among God’s people and by the coming Holy Spirit, this people might return to stand and live in Gods manifested presence. This word made flesh speaks of more than a needed forgiveness for sins committed, but it also addresses a further need in man’s life, which is to slay the old fallen soul, man’s fallen nature, the sin nature, and be resurrected as a “living soul”, the missing link, in bringing man into God’s presence again. At this birthing, this people will then move into God’s Holy of Holies presence to dwell and receive all the promises God has spoken to his creation. Heb. 8:10, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel [the church] after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws [nature] in their minds [renewed soul] and write them on their hearts [renewed soul] and I will be their God [their dwelling place], and they shall be my people [His dwelling place].

Let us then take note, that at the releasing of the new covenant, the old one is obsolete and ready to vanish away. Heb. 8:11, “In that He says, a new covenant, He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away”. This is speaking of the old covenant law, given to the natural fleshly house of Israel for the uncovering of their sin nature and a sacrifice needed for their forgiveness. These laws are now obsolete because Jesus Christ has fulfilled them and any need for animal sacrifice. Thus, Jesus Christ forgives each receiving vessel of their sins and makes available strength for change. This change is from a fallen sin nature into the one that dwells and lives according to a new nature, the life of Christ. How, through the power of Christ death and resurrection that is available to work a work in humanity now. Therefore, we should cease from putting off into the future that which God has made available for us today. We must cease from living under a law and be led by God’s Holy Spirit. This missing link now found; revealed and continues in changing man from being of the sin nature to a resurrected living soul, the Christ nature. What does the Christian community need? Their greatest need is for change, from living under the old covenant laws and modern day Levitical orders to participate in the new living government of God’s new covenant, His nature.

Herein we can begin to touch and respond to the groaning world that is looking for a life that fulfills the emptiness they have. Restoration time is upon us. Let ministers of today cease from ministering only information about God and begin to impart the power of God’s Holy Spirit to bring about the needed change. Herein, let us become God’s kingdom in the earth, one that is manifesting the life of God unto the whole man, spirit, soul, and body, a like kind people who have matured into the full nature of God as He manifest Himself through His people on earth. A people who now can establish the nature of God in the earth, which is the kingdom of God ruling over all His creation, a people who have overcome to become the likeness and image of God according to His purpose from the beginning.
