“Restoration not Regulation”

Isa. 60:1-2 declares for us the prophetic promises of restoration, a time of hope for the restoring of a people coming back into God’s likeness and purpose as spoken during the day of creation. Manifesting a time when man could walk in God’s presence in unashamed humility before the mighty creator. “Arise; shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you”. The “glory” of the Lord being seen upon a people is a word which speaks of “weightiness; that which is substantial or heavy; honor, splendor, power, wealth, authority, magnificence, fame, dignity, riches, and excellence”. This definition speaks of God’s glory, His visible splendor upon His temple that shall finally extend into all the earth. Just who or what is His temple. 1 Cor. 3:16 declares, “Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and the spirit of God dwells among you”? God’s modern day temple then is a people made holy by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, with each individual receiver becoming a part of the overall body of Christ, the temple of God.

While God’s temple of today is moving into the completion process, the darkness spoken of above is also finishing its process of covering the earth. This darkness, coming forth in many forms and fashions, has completely established its mind-set among the authorities, especially those who control the world’s political, economical, and religious systems; therefore, affecting all humanity by such darkness. Nevertheless, God’s promised light has also come, its revelatory increase is calling forth a people and those who hear, like a few of the Kings of Judah, shall arise and shine, as they become this people of light. God is increasing His glory, manifesting on them as light bearers standing forth to challenge and defeat this enemy called darkness.

The darkness that covers the earth is the product of carnal minded men who are in the positions of power in the political, economical, and religious arenas. These, so called world shakers have established a mind-set within a people, who by following their worldwide regulation processes, are becoming the greater advocates of this darkness. History, from the children of Israel, confirms the fact that they were scattered to the four corners of the earth because of their continual rebellions against God. As their Kings accepted and promoted the mind-sets of the nations around them, they regulated the Israelites into serving these godless programs of idol worship as well as the religious perversions of the surrounding nations. This continual downward spiral spread as Israel’s Kings established altars to foreign gods, building up high places for idol worship and religious perversions, with these perversions practiced without restraint. These Kings, establishing this darkness among the populace, allowed this darkness to continue by promoting the darkness, establishing a world without the light of God. These were the regulations, that being established; they finally covered the minds of most of the populace to stand in the position that good was evil while the evil was good.

Today as then, the earth, filled with a like-minded darkness that establishes and promotes regulations and political laws on a worldwide measure. Laws being passed to eradicate any concepts of a God of creation, and meanwhile they are promoting and building a godless society. This is a society where perversions, in every arena of life, are becoming the influence over most of that society. However, God, like among the children of Israel, declares a space of time for a King/Priest people to be raised up for a time of restoration. In King Asa, the King of Judah, we behold a king that meets God’s approval, thus God brings forth restoration. 2 Chron. 14:1-5 states, “Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God, for he removed the altars of the foreign gods and the high places [places of pagan worship], and broke down the sacred pillars and cut down the wooden images. He commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to observe the law and the commandment. He also removed the high places and incense altars from all the cities of Judah, and the kingdom was quiet under him”.

In this position of restoration, King Asa now had God on his side. That which the political/religious powers had rejected, the God of creation, He was now going to go before Asa as long as he remained steadfast in seeking God. 2 Chron. 15:1-7, “Now the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Obed. And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him; hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you, for a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. And in those times, there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded”. Like kind, conditions exist today in America as well as all over the earth. On a scale as never seen before, creation has a need for God to rise up in His people, that they, anointed as King/Priest, shall establish this time of restoration as they seek the Lord and in their seeking Him our God is found.

What is it that follows a people who are seeking for our Father God? They are to experience a time when the Lord of Hosts goes before His seeking people to bring down the worldly kingdoms who have challenged God. Here we receive a word from and established by God, in that His kingdom shall be established in the fullness of His intended purpose. These King/Priests of the Lord, the manifesting sons of God, shall be so tried and tested that their lives are no longer their own but belong completely to God. This speaks of a renewing from the old fallen nature of man into the nature of Christ. Heb. 8:7-10 speaks loud of this promise, “For if that first one [covenant of law] were faultless, a place would not be sought for a second. But finding fault, he says to them, behold! Days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant [grace and faith] with the house of Israel and the house of Judah; not according to the covenant [regulations] which I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt; because they did not abide in my covenant, I also slighted them, says the Lord. For this is the covenant [restoration] which I will covenant with the house of Israel; after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their minds, and on their heart will I inscribe them [a new nature]; and I will be to them for a God, and they shall be to me for a people”.

This speaks of a creation of people with a new nature, not compelled by a regulation from without but by an impelling power from within. This speaks of a people now coming forth, one’s that are no longer being influenced by the darkened mind of this corrupt world, but a people, a first-fruits remnant arising to eradicate the darkness from off the peoples minds and hearts. Ascension time is upon us, hear the cry of the Lord who declares loudly for His people to come away with Him. Song of Solomon 2:8-14, “The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, he stands behind the wall; He is looking through the windows, gazing through the lattice. My beloved spoke, and said to me; Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vine with her tender grapes gives a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away! O my dove, in the clefts of the rocks, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your face let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely”. Restoration time has come, a people are now arising into a relationship with God, coming forth as His first fruits people as they began to see Him face to face.

Note that the order of men’s regulations has brought this darkness upon the earth and the gross darkness that rest upon the minds of the people. Because darkness seems to rule all the kingdoms of this world, they are even now blending to establish a one-world government ruled over by this nature of darkness. At this time of greater darkness, God is now calling forth a great light. This light of restoration is even now beginning to push back the realm of darkness, as His chosen sons come forth to make their appearance known. These are God’s sons of light, moving in the nature of God while establishing the kingdom of God in the earth. This kingdom of light shall bind up all the darkness of today’s political/economical/religious kingdoms while releasing to humanity the quietness of God’s rest. A time for peace is at hand. The kingdom of darkness shall fall because God’s manifesting kingdom is now at the door and coming through.
